For Safekeeping
Senior thesis.Could your posessions tell a story? A lot can be learned about a person by looking at what they own. Objects can tell rich stories that may reveal more than words can say. For Safekeeping, my senior thesis project, is a story told through objects. I wanted to investigate materialistic tendencies of protection and ownership through the lens of Jewish culture. Why these concepts are so important and have had such an influence on me. My research resulted in a 10 piece hand-fabricated jewelry collection with an accompanying book that investigates this topic through an object-driven narrative and visual research.
